Privacy Policy

Last updated September 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Holistic Hyperbarics Inc. ("Holistic Hyperbarics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through our websites, including hh-bayarea.com and offers.hh-bayarea.com (together, the "Sites").

This policy covers our websites. It does not cover your medical records.

Health information created or received in connection with your care as a patient is handled separately, under our Notice of Privacy Practices. If anything in this policy appears to conflict with that Notice as applied to your health information, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact details submitted through a form or consultation request — typically first and last name, phone number, and email address.
  • The service or program you indicate you are interested in.
  • The content of messages you send us by form, email, or text message.
  • Responses you provide through our intake form, which is hosted by a separate provider.

We do not ask for diagnoses, symptoms, medical history, or insurance identifiers on the forms on our Sites. If you send us that kind of information anyway, we will treat it as health information under our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and the approximate location derived from it
  • Browser and device type, operating system, and screen size
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the page or advertisement that referred you
  • Identifiers stored in cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

2. Cookies and similar technologies

Our Sites use cookies and similar technologies, including some operated by third parties. These technologies are active when you visit our Sites.

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the Sites to function and stay secure are always active. You can block or delete cookies, including analytics and advertising cookies, through your browser settings at any time — see "How to limit tracking" below.

The third-party technologies used on our Sites include the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), Google Analytics (Google LLC), our website platform's built-in analytics (Squarespace, Inc.), and font and content delivery services (Adobe, Google).

We do not send diagnoses, symptoms, or treatment details to any advertising or analytics platform. We do not control what these companies do with information they collect directly through your browser, and their own privacy policies govern their handling of it.

Third-party collection across websites

Third parties, including the analytics and advertising providers named above, may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Sites.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is no industry-accepted standard for how a website should respond to a DNT signal, and our Sites do not respond to DNT signals.

How to limit tracking

  • Block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies entirely.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.
  • Adjust ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram account settings.

3. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and check the applicable consent box, we may text you. We treat two kinds of messages separately:

  • Service messages — replying to your inquiry, confirming or reminding you about an appointment.
  • Marketing messages — offers, promotions, and updates. This consent is optional, is never a condition of receiving care or scheduling a consultation, and can be withdrawn at any time.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. You may also opt out by calling us at (510) 648-9496 or emailing info@hh-usa.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile opt-in information is never shared or sold. Phone numbers and text-message consent collected on our Sites are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party for their own marketing purposes, and are not shared with advertising platforms or lead-generation companies.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule a consultation
  • To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and related service communications
  • To send marketing communications where you have opted in
  • To measure the performance of our advertising and our Sites
  • To operate, secure, and improve our Sites
  • To comply with law and to establish or defend legal claims

5. Categories of third parties with whom we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with the following categories of third parties:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf under contract — our website host, our customer relationship and messaging platform, our intake form provider, and our email and text messaging providers.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, limited to the website-activity information described in Section 2.
  • Legal and safety recipients — where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our patients, staff, or the public.
  • A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Reviewing or updating your information

To ask us to review or update contact information we hold about you from our Sites, email info@hh-usa.com or call (510) 648-9496. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Requests concerning your medical records are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable health privacy law, not under this policy.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive health information through unsecured email or website forms.

8. Children

Our Sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through the Sites. We treat patients under 18 with the consent of a parent or legal guardian; that process happens in our clinic, not through this website.

9. Third-party links

Our Sites link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the revised policy on this page. Material changes will be noted here.
